The goal of a breast augmentation procedure is to increase the size of your breasts, either because you were born with a small breast or because of pregnancies.
The surgery is performed under general anesthetic or sedation, takes about 45 minutes, the incision is small (4cms) and located either in the inframammary crease, or at the lower part of your areola or in the armpit.
The implant is positioned usually behind the muscle, sometimes in front. They are made of cohesive silicon gel (sometimes, with a polyurethane coating).
They have either a round or a tear drop shape; their surface is either round or textured.
They exist in different volumes and projections (low, medium, high) so that there is always the right implant for your breast.
All the stitches are disorbable. You will have to wear a support bra for 3 weeks. This procedure can be performed as a daycase or with an overnight stay.
You can go back to work after 1-2 weeks and back to the gym after 4 weeks.
